what i shoot with
Here's the gear I actually use for street photography. Most of my shots are taken at 25mm or 56mm — the 25mm has become my go-to lately for that wider perspective and 'cause i like my 25 lens better.
Cameras
Fujifilm X-S10
My main camera. Small enough to carry around all day but still packs a punch. The stabilization is a lifesaver for handheld shots.
- 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 Sensor
- 5-Axis In-Body Image Stabilization
- Solid build quality
- Flip-out screen + viewfinder
Lenses
Viltrox 56mm f/1.4
My autofocus lens when I want that creamy background blur. Great for isolating subjects and getting those portrait-style street shots.
- Fast f/1.4 aperture
- 85mm equivalent (perfect for tighter framing)
- Good build quality
- Decent autofocus
TTArtisan 25mm f/2.0
My favorite lens right now. Manual focus takes some getting used to, but the 37.5mm equivalent is perfect for capturing wider street scenes.
- All-metal build (feels solid)
- Manual focus only
- Sharp with minimal distortion
- Clicky aperture ring
Accessories
Think Tank Mirrorless Mover 20 v2
Simple camera bag that fits everything I need. Camera body plus both lenses with room for extras. Nothing fancy but gets the job done.
- Water-resistant fabric
- Magnetic closure (super convenient)
- Padded dividers
- Looks good :)
Lightroom + Dehancer Plugin
How I edit my photos. Lightroom for the basics and Dehancer when I want that film look. Simple workflow that just works.
- Great for Fuji RAF files
- Solid color grading tools
- Film emulation presets
- Allows for fine-tuning
